It's been a few years of heavy change. Spring is such a lovely reminder that although the dark days of winter might seem endless, beneath that cold, wet ground stirs new life.
The farm is changing--cattle have gone away for a time and we are now preparing for their return. Sheep have joined us and this spring, our first baby lamb was born. Trees & cuttings are going into the ground and seedling are emerging as our two year old plants burst suddenly into maturity. The hay fields are in process of a full revamp, thanks to help from a neighbor who donated several tons of compost and biochar, and another helping to spread and seed.
The farm stand is still in development but hopes are high! The little blue barn is up and Campsite #1 should be ready to go by early summer. Gotta hit the hay tonight but please stay tuned for more updates soon.
