Tall verbena grows 3-6' feet tall on thin but sturdy stems that feature lovely dark purple flowers. Treated as an annual, these excellent self-seeders bloom from June to first frost and in my Zone (8b) will also over-winter in some years.  Regardless once you plant these lovely plants you will enjoy them for years to come. Works well in mixed beds and cottage garden schemes especially.  Does best in a sunny spot.
